Tri Nations train on squad?

Post by ian.birchall »

I saw that Sean O'Loughlin (and Diskin wasn't, which must have come as a shock to Stevo),was mentioned as being in the squad but does anyone know where the details are of the full squad?

Thier is no PR, if NZ or Aus add even a couple of players it gets in the news!
If it's right about Locky in and no Diskin, i think thats right. O'loughlin on his tackling alone has been brill this year and Diskin is overated.

True. Our players should certainly be Rads, Faz, Carney, Newton & Lockers, and outside chances for Aspy, Hock & Wild. Fitness permitting, of course!

There might be a way in for Diskin now Mario since on the Superleague website it says today that Cunningham needs knee surgery and has pulled out of the squad for the Tri nations.

What a surprise!
Anyway, KC ain't a hooker anymore, he's a second-rate prop.

I think the only reason that Carney will be in the GB squad is that we have a lack of decent wingers. He's been unfortunate this season and still not got back into the swing of things.

Yeah, the problem is so many SL wingers are not GB qualified, and no-one really stands out from the ones that are, apart from a fit Carney.
