Hmm, this from a Castleford team who have never been in trouble for salary cap breaches... NOT! Hypocritical so-and-so's. Castleford received a caution last year for breach the last time they were in NL1 - did they get help in getting promoted? If so, then they can't really complain.

The Daily Mail online (I'd never buy the paper) reminds us that:-

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... =1952&ct=5
St Helens (twice), Hull, Halifax, Castleford, Hull FC and Wakefield have all been found guilty of breaches in recent seasons and last year Bradford and Wiganwere fined £25,000 and £50,000 respectively.
Perhaps some people should check their halos for brown smelly stuff before trying to complain about others.

Dont see there problem. At the end of the day they cheated to get in super league by breaching the salary cap, which they received a caution for. They are aware of the system that was in place then, that punishments would be handed out the season after.

They should stop moaning, accept that they were relagated and get on with it. I cant see any legal action going anywhere.

This is a bit like when Saints won the title and were found to be over the cap, although there were complaints, in reality there was nothing to be done, they were still champions and Wigan will remain in Superleague. I can, however, empathise with their point of view.

Interestingly if Bradford are in trouble again, I think they had part of their fine suspended last year which should make their punishment this year all the more severe.

Cas bleated about being relegated and even asked they not be relegated with the league enlarged at the end of last season to save them for the drop.

Going back further Cas were one of the clubs that wanted the salary cap set at £1.3m when it came in - because it suited them.

It seems to me they want the rules changed when it suits them but when they are applied as written (as they were over the punishment Wigan got last season) then it isn't good enough.

They are pathetic.

However the more worrying thing about that article is the detail it gives about Wigan wanting the RFL to use last seasons penalties for any transgression last season.

I for one expected any transgression last season to be punished using the new penalties so the minimum deduction would be 4 points.

The possibility Wigan are trying to get the old penalties to be used suggests to me we were are way over the cap and facing a relegation guaranteeing points deduction.

The Cas threat of legal action is an irrelevant side show if this is true.

Is it time for MO to leave now before the findings and our punishment comes out.

2 season running any chance we have of getting to the top 6 is buggered cause our accountants cant add up. To be over on the cap again is a disgrace and if an executive of JJB had been running the firm like that hed have been sacked not left to do the same thing again.

Its time for DW and MO to leave the club. If DW cant get a buyer for the club then he should get another Chariman in instead of the muppet.

As we have no chance of winning SL if they are still there. Last season if the 2 point deduction did not take place we could have made the top 6.

This season we are in the top six but not after Friday. Thanks MO. And dont give the exscuse of if we hadnt signed Fileden wed have gone last season. Our prolems have been in place the moment we gave Faz, Connolly, Radlinski and others huge contracts which forced us 2-3 seasons ago to let players go.

Were in the shit due to mismanagement off the filed rather than on it. Whatever damage IM did was small compared to what DW and MO have done. And MO cant complain about the rules.

He bought them into the game.

Couldn't agree more, thegimble. I am rapidly coming to the end of my patience with this shambles of a club, so much so that I am considering packing it in after this season, taking in excess of £10K in income away from the club in the process.

JJ i travel from Gwynedd in Wales for most home games my interest just gone completely until something is done. Either MO goes and DW sorts it out or i wont be at the JJB again for a while.

What is the point of watching a side that is doomed before the season kicks off. Loyalty or not im not stupid.
