From what I heard on GMR, it sounds like Hock and Ashton have issues. I wonder how Noble is going to deal with it. It sounded like in a couple of games time they'll be coming to blows! Perhaps I'm reading too much into it. At least O'Louglin did the captains job of coming between them.
NO NO NO, Hock was fine. He played strong and withstood numerous attempts to incite him. First Terry Newton took him very badly in a high tackle. Terry saw it was Hock and deliberately went for him. That led to a wrestling match on the floor. Morrison then went after him and kept it. Not sure what Morrison had been taking BUT he was downright nasty at times in that match. Hock did not blow and did not to my recollection concede a penalty.
Ashton, bit of chat that is all.
You had to be there to understand. Bradford tried to batter us and really wanted a war. Fielden copped a few as expected.

Correct, cp. Aston got a talking to from Ganson for chunnering, but tbh it would have taken a saint not to complain at some of his bizzarre decisions.
No penalties for dissent, or high shots, but Ganson kept inventing "technical offences" that curiously weren't noticed when Bradford committed the same ones.
