Bulls or Rhinos??
Bulls or Rhinos??
Who will you be going for next week?....i am a bull so obviously will be backing my lads!
Re: Bulls or Rhinos??
No offence but I really don't care anymore!
I was shouting along with all the wigan fans last night "C'mon you bulls" "Theres only one Iestyn Harris" and all that but now it doesn't bother me.
I mean, really Leeds do deserve to win it because they finished top easily but at the same time they might not have won last night if it hadn't been for some pathetic decisions. Suppose you can't live like this saying "if those first few decisions hadn't been given wigan might have scored instead of leeds" but for the next few weeks thats how I intend to think about it.
Anywayback on topic, may the best team on the night win!

Re: Bulls or Rhinos??
I don't actually care who wins. Agreed Leeds finished top by a mile, but they had unbelievable luck with injuries compared with the rest of the top 5, so not convinced that they're actually better than anyone else. Notice the announcer last night going over the top about Leeds finishing top of the league for the first time in 32 years? Will he really still be shouting about that after Bradford win as i expect next week?

Re: Bulls or Rhinos??
MrsLam, come on get real. There was only one real poor decision against us and Leeds could easily have had another 4 tries but for resolute defence and a bit of over excitement.
We were well beaten because our entire front row was either playing injured or just coming back from long term injury, O'Loughlin played well but at only about 60% of what he normally does when he has no bust ribs, Aspinwalls' injury was just typical of our season, Dallas has been off form, injured?, for the past 4 weeks, Terry Newton our 3rd highest try scorer but still he has not scored for 12 matches and nobody has overtaken him, Hock too light, Orr nowhere on offence even if good on defence, Radlinski unfit to train for the past umpteen weeks and only good enough to play actual matches, could explain why he has dropped to the 4th best full back in the league. Enough, enough you've driven me to drink and the village pub getting me lathered up like this. Wait for my end of term report later this week. Why do you have only one lecture a week? What does your degree actually entail, I think you said you were doing computer design or somesuch. Cheer me up, give us back your gorgeous picture with pigtails instead of Pooh Bear.

Re: Bulls or Rhinos??

Unfortunately, the better team won last night. But like other people now we aren't going to the final I have lost any interest in who wins.

Anyway, the real reason I'm here is to reply to Wolftown Warrior's question about the new home shirt. I popped into JJB in Wigan today and asked if they had any news about the new kit.
They told me that the Warriors new kit is being released in November, they sadly didn't have any other info at present.
Re: Bulls or Rhinos??
Apparently new shirt has been ready for a while but my mean mate who works for JJB "isn't allowed to show me it" He absolutely loves having that power over me
Ian, I wouldn't say there was only one bad decision against us, I do agree that realistically we didn't deserve to win the match I know that his decisions didn't cost us the game and it wasn't close at all but I do think there were quite a few off putting decisions during the first half. Unfortunatly can't bear to watch it again right now so I can't name any specifically but I know at the time that's how I felt.
Anyway I've changed my depressing pic for you

Re: Bulls or Rhinos??
I agree with MrsLam about the ref - it wasn't a case of 'big' decisions going against us, but all the little ones. It seemed just about every 50/50 decision went their way...every time they knocked on the ball apparently went backwards, ball steals were called our knock ons (even Stevo spotted two of them!), Dallas being dragged over the line after the tackle for a drop out, the Senior touch incident...
That's why we had no possession in the first half, which ultimately tired all the lads out too soon.
I still think it would have been a different story if Smithy had managed to get the ball down.
Rant over.
