If you are talking about Sam Obst (i think) I totally agree, he appeared to be an excellent player in the final yesterday I agree, that was until he was taken out off the ball with what looked like an elbow.

I think Obst is a cracking player, definately would be a hit with the fans. The way he goes into tackles and confrontations as if he's the size of Andy Farrell is great to see. He's got a fantastic attitude and no suprise he was player of the year in NL1.

Me and Mario were discussing this yesterday at the game. Only downside as Mario pointed out was that if he were a world class scrum half he would expose breaks in the Leigh line everytime. He made a few breaks but perhaps you'd argue he should have made more. Nevertheless, I'd be more than happy for Wigan to sign him!

Probably a better chance now that Haven are staying down. Not sure how well he'll fit in alongside Kimmorley, Long, Jeffries, Fittler and Gower though.

I thought he looked good yesterday but can't form an opinion on him in one match which is all I've seen him in. Maybe he looks outstanding because the rest of the team aren't? I don't know but like someones already said, if we sign him and he doesn't click with Orr straight away are we going to be moaning about Lindsays choice yet again?

With lams guidence iam sure he will fit in well! If not in the beging later on in the season! Also if lam dose stay for another season we could play him in the big games and let sam in for small games to get used to the team other scrum-halfs and also some super league experince for 2006 season!
