i didnt feel had one of his normal dazzling displays last night dont know how you all feel about it but he even dropped the ball a few times which is very unlike him......
Re: Brent Webb
He wasn't sparkling last night by his or anyone elses standards.
Mind, you I have got one reason for that, and the word is spelt:

Thing is our players did what they should do with St Helens - they got in their faces, not watched the replay yet but I seem to recall someone clattered Webb early on and it seemed to put the doubt in his mind from there on in. We just need to keep doing it - especially against them from over the hill

must say he didn't have the best of games last night. however, there is no disputing he is sheer class. he was unlucky not to score when he fell over the grass

his catching technique however was all wrong. judging by the wet conditions and problems certain players had when trying to claim the ball, id say the ebst technique to use was to follow the ball and gradually bring your arms in after beign extended, so you could support the ball, rather than running round open armed like a headless chicken (much like what webb was doing last night when he was attempting his catches).
however, late on he did grasp it, notice he put his knee up on the side he caught the ball, good technique to use.
