Rob, history has shown that the club uis irrelevant BUT any player due to play in a Wembley Final or represent GB Internationally has been dealt with favourably. By that I mean the suspension always enables them to participate in the event.
The only time you will see an exception is when the player concerned is facing a legal charge. Both Joe Lydon and Des Drummond were dropped from tour squads under such circumstances.
Seriously Rob you have way too much confidence in administrators. At all levels they are a law unto themselves and often unscrupolous.
When the RFL fail to discipline players

so if as you say the tackle on richards was already complete why did cunningham come in third man is that not intent?on the subject of pryce did he not get off with sticking a broken glass in the face of an ex bradford coach who was at salford when the incident happened.

That's nothing to do with RL. He was never found guilty of that anyway was he? So he may or may not have done it.on the subject of pryce did he not get off with sticking a broken glass in the face of an ex bradford coach who was at salford when the incident happened.

what't with the insults? if i said that to you you would have me sin binned for dissent!!! ok what i meant to sat was he was already held by two players and being pulled down, there was no need to go into the tackle like he did ,the tackle was almost complete and he could have pulled out.but let's not get childish and start name calling,at the end of the day it's an opinion.

It wasn't meant to be insulting, I called you a turnip. If someone called me a turnip on the rugby field I certainly wouldn't sin bin him, I'd have a laugh with them. I was frustrated that you'd mis-quoted me.jammie posted:

The tackle wasn't complete and the third man is allowed to come into the tackle to try and dislodge the ball in the tackle. It happens a lot more in NRL, two players get the man tackled, third man comes in with a hard hit to try and make the ball carrier lose grip on the ball.

I know that KFC isn't the sharpest tool in the box - but surely even a scouser can tell the difference between the ball and a players head?
Mind you, Pyrce did try and strip the wrong ball off of Burgess at the weekend...
Think it might be worth getting someone to do some testing on the tap water in saint helens...

For another disgusting act. A more serious penalty (to be finalised Wednesday). Rather than the limp-wristed reaction from Red Hall, towards another disgusting act on the field of play.
