Surely most Wigan fans would want Saints to lose no matter who they played. When they played against the Aussies in the World Cluub challenge i was routing for the Aussies. :conf:
Exactly my point. :D
I've never felt more like singing the Blues
When the Wiganers win and the Leythers lose.

I can see both points of view. If this had been Wembley I would be over the moon BUT as SL stands I want Saints, Leeds and Bradford to beat every club bar us. The race to reach the play offs is going to be incredibly tight.

Far from me to raise it BUT I do worry saints may not act in the spirit of the game

Taken from www.therfl.co.uk/appointments

Catalans Dragons v St Helens

Referee - Phil Bentham

The bit in bold is the complaint that Mr Anderson will no doubt complain about and try and get out of the fact that it looks/sounds as though his team where absolute cr*p.

More complaints heading Benthams way from Mr Anderson, as Bentham I seem to remember is not Andersons best mate after Bradford the other week.

why would you want a team that is below us to win, the more teams that are below us that lose, the better & safer it is for us, you are an idiot Turf, althought stains are us enemy/rivals, when they beat any team lower than us that they are doing us a favour :exc:
Catalans are immune from relegation, so how does their winning make us any less safe?
I suggest you try thinking before calling anyone an idiot.

Sorry Turf, got a bit carried away

I will always cheer any team against saints turf, but the more teams below us that lose the better, there is only 7 points seperating us from the relegation spot and with only 4 games left, we could still end up in that position, if it all go's pear shaped and we lose the last 4 games and Salford win theirs we a screwed, every team below us needs to lose so we are safe.

I think we can safely say we're safe from relegation now; I can't see Salford winning their last 4.

It's between HKR & Salford now, and I don't particularly mind which of them goes!
