another great marketing coup by the RFL

Who put these idiots in charge.
1st cup final at Wembley and who gets to present the trophy?
Shaun Edwards, Ellery Hanley, Chris Joynt, Martin Offiah, tommy "pikey" Martin, billy Boston (put the scousers in to appease the Stains Fans).
No, Steve Redgrave, a bloody rower

I would have opted for the oldest surviving participant in a rugby league challenge cup final (whoever that may be)

It seems that the RFL continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel.
no doubt the half time entertainment will be an Elvis Impersonator (and not a very good one).

Typical RFL!

Mind you. I hear they did ask Maurice, but he turned them down.

First final back at Wembley. not a bad time to do a bit of nostalgia re pre match and half time. A playing from every winning Wembley team as far back as possible. Bring great overseas finalist over from Aus/NZ etc etc. It's not rocket science.

they've got a brass band (which i don;t mind at wembley) and some random singer that i've never heard of.

i was also puzzled at the choice of Steve Redgrave (no disrepect to him).
