Huddersfield have accused referees' boss Stuart Cummings of inconsistency in his support of video referees.
They say that when asked, Cummings agreed Ian Smith was wrong to allow Micky Higham's try to stand in their 20-12 Super League defeat by Wigan
However, the Giants are upset that when they queried another Smith decision in their draw with Hull in June, Cummings publicly backed the referee.
Cummings has not made any public comment over the issue.
"We believe his failure to inform the media regarding this decision is double standards," said a Huddersfield statement.
Neither match officials director Cummings, nor his employers the Rugby Football League, have yet issued any comment on the try in question or Huddersfield's subsequent comments.
Why don't they just shut up and get on with it. You don't see Wigan doing this.
