ESPN Classic (Sky Channel 442) will have some Classic International Rugby League on air prior to the cup final on 25th August.

12noon 1980 GB v NZ.
A cliffhanger and a good old punch-up are exactly the kind of things that make rugby league, and this match, such an exciting spectacle.

12:30 1989 GB V NZ
Having lost the first Test at Old Trafford 24-16, Great Britain needed a win here in the second Test to give themselves a chance of a series victory.

An impressive debut from England's future captain Andy Farrell makes this legendary encounter against New Zealand one of the all-time great matches.

The 1985 Challenge Cup final is widely regarded as the best ever. It had everything: great drama, great tries and that great big grin of Gill's.

12:30 Challenge Cup 1994: Wigan V Leeds
There's nothing finer than a player in full flow, his back arched with eyes fixed firmly on the tryline, and at Wembley in '94 'Chariots' was on fire.

1:00pm Challenge Cup 96: Saints-Bradford
Bradford's Robbie Paul was once again the star, with his man of the match performance against St Helens cementing his place in rugby league history. (Thats what it says lol even though they lost!)

1:30pm Challenge Cup 03: Bradford V Leeds
Surprisingly, Wigan didn't make the final this year, which made this Challenge Cup between Yorkshire rivals Bradford and Leeds all the more special. (These previews get worse)

and at 2:00pm they are repeating GB v NZ from 1980.
