Harrison Hansen was great tonight did a lot of tackling and seems to have found out how to hold on to the ball ,he hit the ball up hard and his tackle on Horn late on saved the match well done lad :eusa2:

Richards was my man of the match he read every kick apart from the try Lulu should have sent to Gateshead.

Well impressed with all of the boys but Hansen and Hock were outstanding.

Sure none of you are bothered but bar the score line making me happy .. my 2 year old daughter part way through the game started chanting 'Wigan, Wigan, Wigan!!' I could have cried with happiness ...
I'm so proud!!

I thought Fielden didn't do too badly considering he took a knock very early on.

He got through a lot of defensive work.

Well done Stuart!! :eusa2: :eusa2:

I just wanted to say one thing, after watching the match on Sky and seeing the crowd.

Whoever on here went, you're a credit to the town, to the club and to yourselves.

Unfortunately, I couldn't be there tonight, but i could see the fans pulled the team up when they needed it.

Let's not dwell on the injuries, or on the report. We've got a team capable of beating St Helens...we've seen that. Anything can happen now.

The glory days are coming back...we'll tech 'em all how to play rugby!!!

Spot on. Lets take one game at a time and enjoy them all.

Whoever plays next week in the team will give it 100%. I sense a team spirit in this side that is carrying them further than anyone could imagine.

It's 80 mins away from a GF and "muck or nettles" next week. We have nothing to lose.

Just got back and what an atmosphere! I was shaking towards the end but always confident we would stand firm and deliver!!

I dont think we had 1 stand-out bad player tonight everyone stood up and was counted... apart from Leuluai's 'error' he got his head down and was passionate.

Well done's to Stu Fielden, Harrison hansen in particular really impressed me along with Hock-meister!

I dont know about injuries yet to calderwood/ feka, will watch replay tomorrow or read some news online.

we've certainly had the better of the first half so far (from the radio commentary...)
Or maybe not. Leuluai cock-up to drop the ball in goal, Raynor scored and we're back to 8-8 and it's all to play for again.
Just back in. Funny to see us take over the m62 services when i pulled in. And I thought I was gonna be the only one there. Half of Wigin was theeeeer. Tops still off!!! PS. LULU didn't drop it. He just didn't clear it in time. TOOK AN AGE ACTUALLY. Lulu spat his water all over fielden/Richards when the try was allowed. He knew it was a try so perhaps he was just coolin em off? Like 2 elephants!!??

At that point, Liam Colbon was full-back. I am not sure what position Richards had taken.

The biggest Room is the Room for improvement.

The best form of defence is attack!!

Well, I missed most of that because of a student trying to set fire to their cooker, but the scoreline at the end was a bit tight. I hate listening to rugby on the radio, you have no idea about how strong the defence is to know how tight things really are.
The defence overall was excellent - just two sloppy bits that both led to tries - Leuluai far too casual clearing that ball for Raynor's try, and 3 defenders (Hock, Prescott, couldn't see who else) letting Horne score. Several "try-savers" - Barrett, Hansen, Lockers & Calderwood (even though he got binned for it!).

Not seen the video yet, but I felt we were always the better side, even when behind. What happened to Feca second half, was he injured?
