DEPENDS WHERE YOU SIT IN THE EAST STAND.
BLOCK ES6 HIGH UP YOU GET ATMOSPHERE AS GOOD AS IN THE SOUTH ONLY YOU GET A LOT BETTER PERSPECTIVE ON PLAY.
I THINK SOME OF THE RIVERSIDERS ARE UP THERE WITH SOME DRUMS.
THATS WHERE MY SEASON TICKET IS.

It's not that much more expensive, is it? I've had the same seat in the East since 2001, even though I can't get to every game because of work I'm not prepared to move because the view's great. The first season in 2000 was the best though, seats with our names on!robjoenz posted:

Re: Jus wanted to know
I forgot about that! I was so proud to have my name on a seat, bit sad that really...
I prefer South, we went in East for a fairly big match once after Challenge Cup 2002 after all the glory seekers had decided to turn up in the south stand and I hated it. The crowd never got going and it was weird being on a side view again. Don't know how you can say view is better though. Nowt better than playing a big side in a tight match and seeing Wigan score the winning try right infront of you, or seeing that the opposition has actually not scored because the ball hasn't been put down over the line and watching their fans cheering like they've won
Brilliant! Saying that though, bit frustrating when you see either your team score or their team not score and the decision is given against. Ooo it winds me up it does!
Like Rob says though, atmosphere when defending or attacking at that end is unbeatable, Phil Clark is always raving about us

south stand for the grinch and family.i bought 6 season tickets this year 4 for my wife children and me, two for christmas presents for parents.the beauty of the south stand is you can meet a freind and sit with them no problem.all unreserved seating! the atmosphere is better and now we have more season ticket holders the ground should be even better.

I've moved to the East this season, mainly for the reserved seats. Hated having to miss valuable boozing time by turning up early enough to get decent seats in the South.
