What award did he win? Mr. Integrity? Fair player award? No...
Well call me old fashioned, but when a player is banned for something that revolting they shouldn't be considered for any award. As a professional sportsmen you would hope that they would be a good example to young fans - not a deviant.

Nice one - and to think that you actually want to control games!

You still consider someone who does things like pyrce is worthy of awards! Referese SHOULD be the height of integrity and part of their role is to protect players from stuff like this.

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?
Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

He should have been sent off for it (had it been spotted) and he deserved the ban he got. However, he served his punishment and now that's that.
my daughter knows james roby, and she is raving about him as a good player, and my dad thinks he should be the young player of the year at the rugby league awards dinner.
and has everyone forgot about when leon pryce glassed someone then claimed that he had "forgotten" he had a glass in his hand.

No way, Robo, to grope a player is sexual assault. To take advantage whether mallice or sexual arrousal shoulkd have been banned for at least a year. Sorry but it is a question of trust. Would you want to be in a huddle with him? It creates a doubt that is detrimental to the game. To give him an award when some of his shine may be because of the reluctance to get too close by the oposition players sucks. HC
i've never liked him since he smashed carney's head to the floor in the gf. he's not the dirtiest player ever but he's the only one that i know who grabs balls!!
He may not be the dirtiest player ever - however he is the dirtiest currently playing in SL.
I think most fans like a bit of a row ala Skerrit and Cowie; however pyrce's behaviour is cowardly - he never seems to want to fight unless his opponent is grounded or having a go at someone else. Like our last match against stains where Barrett was on the floor. Old jug ears came in from the side and seemed very enthusiastic about attacking Barrett on the floor until Fletcher and Hock arrived; at which point he completely bottled it.
For me, his sneaky cowardly actions detract from any ability he might have as a player. He should have been banned for a year for what he did in the CC semi final - had he played for any other team then he probably would have been
