Just took this from the clubs site. Tell us something we didn't know eh. Well done everyone.
The KC Stadium Safety Officer has today contacted the Wigan Club and asked us to pass on his thanks for the fans fantastic support and good behaviour at Saturday's playoff game against Hull FC.
Over 3,500 Wiganers made the trip to Hull and John Rose said that their good humoured behaviour was amongst the best he had experienced.
He said, "I would like to thank all of those who travelled to the KC on Saturday. There was a big turnout from Wigan and no trouble at all. The Wigan fans are a credit to their Club."
"Not only did they beat St Helens in the Grand Final, they did it with style" Mike Stephenson 2nd Oct 2010

on this case so were the Hull fans ,never had a prob at hull 1 of my fav grounds
Hey i was very surprised actually. as i had heard a few stories about `ull fans, and things in the past about Hull fans..
However what amazed me was after the game whilst wondering around, not one but 5!! groups of Hull fans came over and shook hands and said well done and good game, and even wished us good luck for Leeds game and good luck in the final!!
I was a little gob smacked at this after hearing random stories from events in the past at Hull.
Well done to these people and the rest of the Hull fans on this game. Was a great day out for me, really enjoyed it and will certainly be making the trip down there again next year!!
The Vast majority of Hull fans are great and very knowledgable/approachable about Rugby. Its a great place to live for a rugby fan.

Whilst I've never lived in Hull, I'd agree with this as well. I always had some good chats with Hull fans when I went to the Boulevard, or if I met them out in different places. I remember talking to one auld boy about rugby one time about 4 years ago, he was saying he'd been to every rugby ground over the previous 50 years except one - he'd never ever been to Hull KR! It was just something he refused to do, as a Hull FC fan, to go near Craven Park/New Craven Park. But he was a top chap, loads of stories to tell.
