Well, not all dead yet. They say the team who score first in the 2nd half will have the advantage, and whilst it wasn't quick coming we're back in the game. 16-6, can we do another Bradford....?

Ordinarily I'd censure that, but given that all the radio guys said that was no try, the fact that Bentham has given it means it's really game over for us. Oh well, to finish effectively 3rd given where we were just over a year ago has to be seen as huge progress. Lack of strength in depth in the squad possibly not helping, we've had no reserve winger, no reserve full back (without moving a winger to the back), two kids as back up to our props... Hopefully the new management when they take over will address that and try and get a bit better balance in the team for next year.

We'd run out of steam, and were 2nd best on the night.

Ganson or the ridiculous video ref decisions didn't help us, but the thing is that Leeds didn't even need the help.

Great end to the season, and the players should feel proud. A few players more in the squad and we'd have a chance.

Looking forward to next season, and here's to a Rhinos win in the final.

I just want to thank Mr Ganson and (mainly) Mr Bentham for screwing us out of the play offs.

Bentham will be dropped next week - off a very high cliff! :(

If he is the VR next week, then Leeds will coast it!

I've not seen the game, I've only had the radio commentary to go off, but there's no way you can justify this. It sounds like Wigan have had very little attack on the Leeds line, we made too many mistakes, and Leeds made very few mistakes giving us little to work with. The decisions made it far more difficult, but from what I heard I don't think the result would have been much different with different officials. A one-legged Feka who was clearly not fit, Higham who got hurt early on, a makeshift winger... we were always going to be up against it and it sounds like the lads have done as well as could be expected under the circumstances. Might be hard, but I think we've got to say well done Leeds for keeping Barrett quiet, putting our defence under pressure and giving us very few chances to score, and accept we were second best on the night.

I hope Ganson is happy now.

Three times we have had him and the third time he knocks us out of the play offs.

Third time lucky they say! :eusa3:
