Who decides these awards anyway? Whatever mentally challenged dimwit (or collection of dimwits) decided to give it to roby clearly has a stains fixation.

Think that we had better bombard the RFL with letters telling them exactly what we think of them

Best throw in a bit about how a referee who was demoted for being incompetent can be judged ref of the year.

Can someone post the address of the spec-savers that the RFL is based in so we can start the hate mail campaign...

Like I said before, it's not the RFL.

Originally it was for "the player who has made the greatest impact on the 2007 engage Super League season", but in recent years it's always gone to a player from one of the top 2 clubs.

Complete farce; Saints would have been just where they are without Roby, so he's not had much impact. On the other hand, without Barrett, we'd have been nowhere. Who had the greatest impact?

The Saints Bias is getting very,very tiresome and Roby as man of steel is laughable.


Lets put it this was Barrett was Writers player of the year voted by the press.He was PLAYERS player of the year voted by the opposition players of OTHER teams yet hes not Man Of Steel???????????????????

I agree with Geoff, what impact has Roby actually had? Who has been getting the headlines in the press? barrett... who has won more monthly awards for player of season? barrett, who's scored more tries? dropgoals, 40/20s, lifting team morale and spirit?
