Question 10 has been on TV's a question of sport, and the question was put to Martin Offiah. The answer was Ellery Hanley with 47. I am pretty sure of that, he hopes.ancientnloyal posted:

I had a browse on some wigan stats after my answer and I kept reading Connolly was the first try scorer at the JJB against Bradford?
am I wrong? what was the first game at JJB btw? I wasnt there or id have remembered it. Good guess at Betts... only know a few names from that 'dark' era as I call it

Betts scored our only try, plus three Farrell goals.
I remember Danny Orr having a stormer in that game, too.
