That must be what Lenegan was on about in the interview shown in Wigan today web site. He mentioned something DW said he was doing regarding the stadium as if DW had made the announcement at the press conference.

The video only featured Mo and Lenegan but nothing before them speaking.

Haha just watched video now, I was going to say that :)

ON a serious note having watched the video although there were no major surprises the extended lease on the JJB and the acquisition of Orrell are both great bits of news. Lenagan seems genuine enough and things look pretty good for the foreseeable future.

Because nobby would block any move to bring him back.

I would surmise that down the line, Edwards and Faz will become involved with the club again.

People are saying that the fans are being kept in the dark! How many busnesses, it is a busness, give detils of how they are going to run thier operations. He has taken over the club, has started to appoint people he thinks can work withhim to make the club a sucsess. We can only trust him and give him our support. We have done with DW.

From what i have seen from the press conference and radio interviews IL seems committed to Wigan RL and wants to see us succeed. It looks that DW and MO made a hash of the salary cap for the last couple of years and the IL has his hands tied this coming season with new signings so i am not expecting any top name signings .On reflection to the latter end of the season we seemed to be coming good .
Of the 5 players who have left the club
Withers played 5 games for us .
Ashton went to RU and Richards filled in at full back.
Fletcher will be missed hard to replace wonder whether Coley is up to it.
Millard played expionally well for the run in and ideal replacement is Mc Illurum
DV any body with a bit of a rugby is better than him although i think Goulding needs more experience.

If you take the above in perspective ie the run in at he end of the season we were playing some good rugby .
Of the £140.000 thats left we need a centre and a prop .
The likes of O'Carrol ,Prescott,McILLurum,Hanson must come of age next season.
IL has not beat about the bush and says that his hands are tied as to signing new players but the has envisaged a new structure for 2009.Just as well there is no elegation next year and if we have to wait another season for success so be it.
