Disgrace!
What have St. Helens done???? They have tarnished the great name of rugby league and allowed the union prats, of which I encounter far too many on a daily basis, to claim that union is superior to league!!! This is a complete disaster for our campaign to prove the superiority of league over union!!!!

might i on behalf of the users, myself and the boss Mike, welcome you to the message board and website, im sure that this along with bilkos, www.cherryandwhite.co.uk, will keep you up to date with the warriors and the greatest game down in oxford!
ur point is valid, saitns have tarnished the name of RL, but facts dont lie, tv ratings still prove RL superior to Union, use that in your next row with a union fan!

being stuck in the heart of RU land I can sympathise ...
However what did Monday's debarcle actually prove? *RL teams can play RL better than RU teams and RU teams can play RU better than RL teams ...hardly quantum physics!!
The two games are different,need different skills but some 'person' seems to think you get a fair contest when you make two teams of both codes play one anothers games - wonder what the effect would be if Man U had to play American 'Football'??? (Why not they are both called football!!!)
I think the sole purpose of Monday was the 'kerching' of cash registers ... and I do hope the RL side will invest their share wisely ...like in a private hospital for all those nasty injuries their players seem to get (conveniently!!)
I tend to find RU fans to be full of hot air, beer and very little knowledge of 'their' game... well the ones I know are...

What the game "proved"
The only thing that surprised me about Monday was the fact that NO-ONE scored in the other code.
I am amazed that Jason and Apollo didn't do more, and I am also VERY surprised that no-one from Stains could score in the Union match.
We have now seen that both games are better than the other at THEIR OWN GAME.
It proved NOTHING.
