Presumably McAvoy

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Presumably McAvoy

Post by ian.birchall »

is still looking for a job having been pushed out by t'bulls and as the 2006 season continued and he played in game after game he pulled out some good performances for us. If we have £140k to spare and need a centre there must be a good case for spending £50k on this lad.

Agreed. Or even on a pay-per-play deal rather than a proper contract. He's been basically without a regular team since leaving for the Dark Side (rah-rah) back in 2003, and given his habit of regular knock-ons he'd probably drop any proper contract he was given!

Don't want him. £30k is too much

50K!!!!!!!! :o

Wouldn't spend 50p on him tbh.

The last time he was here he was outside the 20/20 so was on 19,999k max.

He isn't worth a contract even on that especially now that promotion and relegation has been scrapped. We don't need to give contracts out to players who aren't any better then the kids we have in the u18's.

I cannot believe that we are discussing the return of this player, how low have our expectations dropped. If any of the kids playing there hearts out for a shot at the first team spot see this, they will suffer from depression. We won the game at Bradford because of a knock on by this guy, he is slower than Stains fullback, with worse hands. The only reason he has not got a club yet is because no one wants him.
