"Radders,Fletcher,Mcavoy,Fielden and of course Noble were the main men that turned our season around and thats fact."
'Godswallop' I think you may be forgetting a few people for a start. Mcavoy was crap last season and I would go as far as to say he played no part whatsoever. Do you remember a certain mr Dobson we had last year who you failed to mention?

what i meen is with us having no money to spend ,he would be reasonable cover for us ,don't forget we were lucky last season on the injury side ,this year might be totaly different ? we have to take that into account

I'm not arguing with that if he's seriously cheap and there is no-one else available then you get him in for cover on a pay per play contract. What I totally disagree with (which wasn't your point) is the claim that he somehow played a part in Wigan's recovery last year when he clearly didn't by any possible stretch of the imagination I can think of.

Mcavoy was outstanding in defence on the right and that leaky defence down the right all of a sudden dissapeared.
Leaky defence down the left went when Radders was center and leaky defence down the center gone when Fielden came. And great field position achieved with Dobsons kicking game.
All in all these players achived the almost impossible and Wigan survived.
Would mostly agree with that and while not ideal getting him for a year on the cheap would serve a purpose not what I imagined .
In his spell with us he outplayed DV in most games for about a fifth of the wage .

i think mcavoy would be a good short term deal for us. he is an honest player who wont cost us a fortune. we dont have a lot of room under the cap and we need a couple of players just to replace the ones who have left. its to easy to say we are wigan and we want the best players available! everyone knows the score now this season. we will have to make the best of what we have.
dont let your victories go to your head or your failures go to your heart
I am not saying he is great and if we had enough resources money wise I would love to see a great strike center but we have not so its just an option .
I still think although he was not a world beater or anything that he played well in our run in and was worth more to the team than DV and I would have had him at the club for this season over DV on that years form , so yes the same player would you disagree ?
