So where abouts Mike? i lived in Keats Avenue for most of my childhood and used to spend a bit of time at St Judes Rugby club.
My parents still live on Poolstock Lane, Wait for it................I now live in St Helens and my nearest club is Portico Vine (Panthers) my son actually plays for them and we have got St Cuthburts in the morning.
Didn't you say your son plays for some other team? (can't remeber wich).
Having said that i used to take my lads every weekend to St Judes for training when Portico was on my doorstep.
yes he used to play for judes transfered last season i used to live on Fisher Close moved to Hawkley when i was about 9 got married went to ashton now back in hawkley

The Mighty Heysham Atoms about a mile away.
Do you ever go and watch the Atoms? I used to go down to Trimpell regularly, I think I was even on the books for the Atoms for one season because they need to have a certain number of players registered to get some free balls or some such thing! My entire RL career consists of one substitute appearance (unused!) for their second team...!

Yeah Dave's my cousin. That's a well deserved nickname too. He came up for the Grand Final. Had a monster time.
