When we breached the cap last year I could not see how we could not be found guilty given some of the laws regarding the cap.
It seems Hull KR believe that the player registration rules are unsuitable;

Is it possible to gert a fair hearing in our sport or is it a case that the rules are set up in such a way that whatever agenda the RFL has they can adapt them to suit their own position?

As a long-standing member of CAMRA, we quite often arrange "piss-ups in breweries"! I wouldn't trust the RFL to do the same!cpwigan posted:

An interesting question. I have said on numerous occasions it was a pity Wigan did not challenge the ruling on the salary cap.cpwigan posted:

If Hull FC challenge this then it looks like HKR are keen to get certain facts on the table. However if Hull FC do not proceed with legal action it looks like we will never know the ins and outs of what went on and just what it is that HKR seem convinced was unfair.
I really do think the RFL make it up as they go along at times. They tried to challenge Saints fining them £25,000 for playing a weak side v Bradford but had to back down when legal action was threatened because the rules had been rewritten in such a way that meant Saints had technically done no wrong.
This could be more of the same. It would be highly embarrassing for the RFL if HKR were vindicated in court.
