A rugby legend i also agree in the changing of the man of steel name. One of the greatest to ever step on a rugby pitch. What an influencing person never stopped fighting. If he hit a brick wall he wouldnt turn round and go back he would find a way to get over it. A true rugby great. Will be VERY VERY sadley missed. I send my prayers to his family and freinds and am trying to think of a tributing song to sing at games.
RIP Mike mate You will always have a place at Wigan.

Was reading through all of the messages with a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat, when I came to the one from Mikes nephew.......I don't mind admitting that I burst into tears reading it.
All the suggestions that have been put forward to honour Mike have been brilliant,to tie his name to RL for years to come without doubt has to be done.
But lets not forget the man he was,I was fortunate enough to meet Mike, just once,a mutual friend introduced us,I obviously knew who he was but he didn't know me from Adam.
He was so humble,he was so friendly,he made me feel like I had been his friend for years,I will never forget that meeting and I will never forget Mike.
