Why did Wales v Lebanon take place in a near empty Widnes Stadium? Surely better in Wales? Are we not supposedly trying to promote / develop the game in Wales? If they wanted a neutral venue, they could have got more using Robin Park Athletic Stadium or a part of Britain with a decent Lebanese community? London?

It was Lebanon's home game. It was scheduled for Beruit, but they couldn't play there due to security concerns. It was up to the Lebanese to decide what their venue would be.
