joel tomkins..
.. reading the observer he says he's taken a pay cut to stay at wigan. IL says the distribution of money is to top heavy. wonder how much he was actually on? also wigan have handed contracts to 13 youngers who came through the scholarship scheme! looks like there's a couple of big props coming through the ranks

The main thing is that Joel stays. Huge potential IMO

It was rumoured that Tomkins was on something daft like £60k pa.
Whether that was accurate or not, hopefully a restructured deal linked to appearances has been sorted.
It seems apparent that the structure is top heavy.
Whilst players such as Barrett will cost top whack, I can see Richards, Feka, Bailey, being on big money.

Everything they do is so dramatic and flamboyant. It just makes me want to set myself on fire!
