I got tipped the wink a couple of weeks ago via my club contract with a strong implication it was going to be Pryce. I'm hoping to be chuffed.
From todays WEP:
I almost gave up reading when I read that but I did read the full thing. It is just another re-hash of old info with no new quotes attributable to any of the major players, IL, JL or the bloke from his RU club.
How do they get away with making a living re-hashing none-news like this?

Agreed. It's very frustrating for us readers. I yearn for the days when reporters would actually break news.

I suspect Peter Aspinall is well aware who the new signing is but has to keep quiet to keep the club sweet for the future.
I suppose they've got to put something on the back pages and Wigan RL rumours are generally more interesting than Wigan Athletic facts!! :sly:

I think you are giving him far too much credit! If you actually read the majority of WEP articles they are very carefully worded not to contain any actual facts. "Pryce may sign for Wigan" being typical.
What they rely on is people reading what they want to read and instead of the word "may" registering they think the article is cast iron info he will indeed sign.
It would not surprise me in the least if Pryce does sign the WEP carries an article that starts "As predicted ..." when in fact they have not predicted anything.
As Cruncher said investigative journalism seems to have gone awol.
