it will develop the wigan squad as a whole when they realise even the best can leave you. Faz is doing the right thing by his family. He has given us loyal service since he was 16 years old, we've had the best of faz's years, sure we can offer him a new contract but if he signed it, he'd be left wondering could he have made it in RU. Faz will be a huge loss to wigan and GB we can replace him in positions but we'll never have another leader like him. Be angry with them if they leave it wont benefit anybody we cant help what they decide to do but you could at least respect their decisions after all they have done for us!!!!

I understand you and respect your side of the arguement, but i dont think i would ever forgive faz if he left. After EVERYTHING we have done for him he is considering leaving us for union just for his peace of mind that his bank balance is secure. I will forever appreciate his loyal service these past 12 years dont get me wrong i will forever love the man just like i do jason robinson, but i just feel if he left he would let an awfull amount of people down. :(

ASK YOURSELVE WHY IS HE BEEN ALLOWED TO LEAVE WHAT DO THEY KNOW WE DON'T.

IT CAN BE 1 OR 2 THINGS

1. HIS INJURY IS WORSE THAN EXCPECTED AND WILL NOT LAST MORE THAT ANOTHER YEAR AT WIGAN

2. THEY HAVE A PLAYER WAITING TO COME IN. AND THERE IS A DECENT PLAYER AT THE CANTERBURY BULLDOGS CALLED SONNY BILL WILLIAMS WHO IS LEAVING THEM FOR YET AN UNDISCLOSESD CLUB. MAKES U THINK DOESN'T IT.
SEEMS THAT FLETCHER FROM SYDNEY IS AVAILABLE AS A PROP AS HE WILL NOT COME NOW BUT IS AVAILABLE NEXT YEAR.

WE CAN NOT CARRY HIM AGAIN THROUGH ANOTHER INJURY HIT SEASON.

In an interview Dennis Betts said that Faz is at the best club in the league and he doubts he will leave. If he leaves it will be for nothing as he is a to big of a name in rugby league for union. If he sees sense he will stay in league as he has it at his feet already.

I cannot understand what Faz has got to gain out of going to Rugby Union. Financial security, what a load of rubbish, he wants to try grafting for a living and having to support his family on less than 10 grand a year! It can't be for the challenge because what sort of a challenge can Rugby Union offer to Faz? So what can he possibly have to gain out of it except greed.

It already is. Look at the press. Day one of SL X and what is the hot topic? The games or RL? No. Faz moving to RU.
if anything it will help....Union suffered during the amateur days when lots of top players left to earn a living in league and what was their answer?...to trun professional I think the more that top stars defect from RL to RU the more it will force the RL powers that be to relax their restrictive trade policy. Market forces will always win and the sooner the sport wakes up the better.
For goodness sake get real. Sorry but this is nonsense. RU was amateur and RL took players from that game mostly from Wales - working class poeple who found a way to earn a better living by turning pro.

This is no way on a par with that. We are about to lose the current GB captain, the current man of steel, the current golden boot holder and someone who was given an OBE for his services to the sport of RL !!!!

This is the most negative thing to happem to RL in decades.

Depends which way you look at it, Dave. All these moves show that our players and coaches are better than anything they have, or why go for them?

They've got money but no talent, we've got loads of talent but no money. That's the basis of a trading situation in any economy.

I have had a very long think about this by myself. Yesterday i hated faz for even considering the move but i have took a step back and thought about it . This amazing man has achived so much and yet is still young. He has achived all this in RL there is no better thing for him to win or gain in RL he has done it ALL ! If i was in his postion i would want to go to. He needs a new challange he needs something fresh and exciting to work towards a new game . I dont understand how people can call this man a judas he is a saint all the way but i can understand why you would be mad. I just hope everyone can respect his desision whatever it turns out to be and rather than dwelling on his posible leaving lets congratulate him and celebrate the past 12 amazing years of service this incredible man has done for us.

I think faz will go, its not fair union dont have the same restrictions ie salary cap etc. I wish him good luck if he does go but i will be gutted. I think Rads will stay.

I think if Faz choses to go we have to wish him well and thank him for his service, but he will be sorely missed
