NEW Mike Gregory Ben Nevis Charity Walk 24th MAY 2008

Ok you lot just of the phone with one of the directors of the Mike Gregory Trust. A nice chap called Phil Clark. (Ex Wigan Player)

I have told him of the plans for the walk & let him know its from all at this great website.

I have e-mailed him the details asking for an official letter saying that we are doing this for the trust & for a sponsor form.

Hopefully he will e-mail me them & i can forward them on to all who are taking part.

Now what i need is to set a defenite DATE!

I know its Mr Binders 40th on last wk-end in May BUT it is prob the best time of year weather wise and fixture wise for all. So please let me know who is taking part and what date you think would be best.


Could only those taking PART put there names on here or if possible contact me at my e-mail address as id like to get definate numbers before the end of Januray if possible.

Can you wherever possible only reply to this thread if it confirmation of going or asking for further details.
There is another thread available if you want to post general comments (so that at least it makes it easier for trots to keep an up to date picture on who is going etc...)

I'm still up for this, although May is difficult as I have to sign off the accounts with the beloved auditors

Will certainly help out even if age and circumferance would not allow me to climb. One concern wouild be accomodation if it is the May bank holiday. The booking would have to be soon. May June is best months up there. Last time I was up there it was building sheds for the Harry Potter movie outside Jimmy Savilles house in glencoe HC

Thanks have a look at the older Mike Gregory Ben Nevis Walk thread for details of accomodation & the choice of date. Both dates the bunkhouse accomodation is empty so far
