Perhaps we should ask Mike for a non-story section for the new site, given that Bradford claim this offer has been rebuked. It's not even really a rumour if there's no chance of it happening, and one wonders if it ever was a story in the first place, given we've supposedly no more money left and definitely not enough for a first-choice international hooker, or if Bradford are just making it all up...

I don't think the offer can have been rebuked, although it's possible that the Wigan club was...

Rejected, perhaps, or refused....

Cash offer or Higham?

Does this suggest that they were looking to have Newton and Higham in the squad for next year.

Is there still a little bit left in the salary cap for another player - Jamie Thakray

Why has this been moved. It is not a rumour and would be a worthwhile topic :conf:

where has this been moved to?

It is a rumour than could be debated

Is there any truth in it, do we want Newton, do we need him, can we afford him as an extra player in the squad.
If we do have money to add Newton to the squad and not let anyone else go then we must still have enough money left in the salary cap - it must be a good £50-£60K

I think that this may be scare tactics by Bradford. I would be interested in ILs return comment. Ps I have a copy of Karl Price playing in the Wigan V Bradford match in 2006 if your interested.
