No report of any injuries, that's more important than the result.
Very true

The important game in Quins. Win that and wed be 2 points ahead of where we have been for a while after the 1st weekend.

did out players looked to have developed in size over the off season

Hansen, Prescott, O'Carroll, Tomkins and even Bailey - do they look like proper men now or still need time to develop.

Like the look of Mossop in the other photo - now of he is a second row he cound do some damage!!!

Decent turnout for a friendly! Wonder how many were Wiganers.
A good 2000 +of them were wiganers they took up half of the South stand and i was in the North stand a lot of Wiganers around me.
Seems like you're the first one back, can you give us your impressions of how the players/team performed?

You would expect Goulding to get taken apart by King - he is a world class aussie test star and Goulding is a yound kid learning his trade still playing along side a loose forward in the centres

Warrington were more up for it and they found the weakness on our left side early doors .O'loughlin and Thornley were the starting line up on left wing and centre.O'Loughlin dropped 3 or 4 passes early doors .Warrington scored their first 3 tries down this wing .Feka does not look fit to me he had a job to walk on the pitch was much better with ball in hand.Wigan did a lot of chopping and changing they gave every player a run out Goulding kept King in check on the other side he only had one decent run and King scored a try later on. On the whole it was just a friendly we came away with no apparent injuries it was a game under their belts .McClurrum and O'Conner had good games as did Higham .Colbon showed some nice touches made acracking break to set up a try.

I would not expect anybody to get taken apart irrespective of age. Fair enough not to shine or find a player a handful.

Mano, was the difficulty you describe due to lack of teamwork or making the 1 on 1 hit? At the end of the day defence is working together, communicating and then the individual making his 1 v 1 or better still 3 v 1.

I hate friendlies. Necessary evil but pointless.

Did anybody particularly the youngsters show up well? On the radio it sounded like Coley tried hard and that Prescott did well.
