goulding 1 on 1 was poor.

agree with that mano! im not a big fan of tommy l if he doesnt produce this season id do everything poss to get dobson back over. the young lad who replaced barrett looks good is it sam tompkins? thought ainscough did nothing wrong o'carroll mcclorum all played well looks like some good young lads coming through

My biggest worry is our game plan with the ball. Seems reliant on magic from Trent. The radio said Wire kept running a move with a dummy runner(s) where the ball went to Bridge and caused us all manner of problems.

Hopefully Goulding can improve his 1 v 1. I noticed last year he would make the hit and then drop or be bumped off at times. Still very young.

SW, probably Sam. Very talented. People talk about his size but he has grown a lot height wise in the last 2 years and may even bulk out.

Strange playing Thornley on the wing. I would have opted for Stanton if fit or Ainscough. Thornley would have been better at centre.

if sean ainscough is going to make it in SL he will have to keep hold of ball is stats from last season are that he drops at lot ball like he did today near wigan sticks.

Like you said Mano, Andy is just not a winger, he does not have the speed. The club rate him higher than I do :conf:

at to laugh at some of the wire fans raving on about how good they were and how well they were going to do this year, big deal they beat a depleted wigan team who in the first half weren't interested.
