theres a sports bar in the centre with sky sports. last year was packed on friday night, wigan coaching staff and a few french players aswell,[fakir,felous and greseque] does decent food aswell,get in early if you want food.

the ex french rugby union players bar is good just on the front near the canal, nice little bar where wiganers seem to gather on the day of the game. I went in there on the night before the game and got a bottle of red wine for about 10 euros whereas the pints where about 5 euro a pint!

I couldn't get out of there on the Sunday cos of the rain. Only went in for 1 drink and spent about 6 hours there.
