I think there we would have both a strong starting 13 and a devastating bench with plenty of cover in case of injurys.

the only thing id disagree with is having pryce on the bench! id start with him on the wing and have prescott on the bench.

if any one of the back line gets an injury bailey can go to centre and shuffle it about from there

Goulding ahead of Pryce? Unlikely.
Don't under-estimate Goulding he had an excellent try scoring record last season and seems to work well with Barrett. He still needs some improvement but that will only come with experience.

Pryce will need to work his way into the squad first to prove himself at Wigan, so if everyone was health at the moment I would go with Goulding.

And drop who? Richards? - who would kick? Calderwood?

Nah I disagree I think bringing Pryce from the bench when defenses are tired would be a brilliant move. At his size and power he would trouble any defense.

I will admit I would like to shuffle my starting 17 if everyone was fit around so Prescott could be included - does Hock deserve a place in the 17 over Prescott?

no id stick with richards. drop calderwood! i dont see the point of having a centre on the bench when we already got cover in bailey.just think noble will go with 4 forwards on bench!

i think on his day hock is a brilliant player so he does deserve a place in the 17 as does prescott.

id start with bailey/ hansen and use hock as an impact player.

Pryce isn't just a centre, his size means that he can play in the forwards as well as the backs, he has even played at stand off before.

Having Pryce on the bench means that Wigan are able to have two props and a hooker on the bench but still have cover in-case of injuries.

The only difficult decisions for me are who to leave out of the 17 in Carmont, Pryce and Goulding and which prop combo starts out of Prescott, Fielden, Feca and Coley. It's a great situation to be in!

I am looking forward to the impact of the bench - Fekka and Hock after 20 minutes - that will scare teams who think they can weather the early storm.
Like saints have done to us in the past - bringing on Fassuvalu, Graham and Roby to push on before half time - we can now match that and better it
