MM Crowds

Just attempting to assess the "crowds" at the stadium. But SKY have given an estimated attendance of 12,000 for the Huddersfield v Warrington match.

Is this a fair attendance for the fixture/event? or has the SL blown it's bubble?

It is fair, being 1:30pm they kicked off (correct if wrong) as the next two matches' fans are/will be still in the city drinking etc...

Looking at the Leeds Bradford game it is a decent crowd but i am sure Wigan will have far superior numbers tomorrow in the left corner. Guaranteed.

On the RFL site it shows the attendances as

Hudds v Wire: 12,000
Cas v Wakey: 15,000
Leeds v Bulls 18,000

Obviously estimates, but still poor.

Normally you would expect:

Hudds v Wire: 9,000
Cas v Wakey: 9,000 (derby)
Leeds v Bulls 19,000


for each individual match...

So I make it half less than last year?

it has certainly lacked a buzz so far ,maybe the hull derby followed by the main event will get things going
