Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Gasnier...maybe...?

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

According to the cane toads, he's is more likely to be going to French RU than anywhere else (same newspaper story - I think!!)!

Another on his way there though is ex-Hull and Quins Sione Faumuina.

Probably doesn't want to be coached by Wayne Bennett!

The removal of Nathan Brown as coach was (for some reason) included in his contract, as a way for Gasnier to seek a release.

Gasnier looking to do best for himself

May 21, 2008

NEW South Wales State of Origin star Mark Gasnier says he'll be doing what's best for himself as he seeks to resolve a contractual issue that has him considering a switch to rugby union in France.

Gasnier, who played a pivotal role in two of NSW's tries in their 18-10 series-opening victory over Queensland spoke for the first time since the revelation he was acting on a out clause in his deal with St George Illawarra.
