Traffic / parking at Leeds for CC

Post by FROM A TO B »

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but there is a cricket match on the same day as we play Leeds!
could be fun, fun, fun trying to get a parking space!

The game will be played on Saturday 31st May 2008 at Headingley-Carnegie Stadium with a 2.30pm kick off.

The Headingley-Carnegie Stadium will be the centre of a historic day of sport on that day when a War of the Roses clash will take part on the rugby and cricket pitches at the same time. Yorkshire CCC are taking on Lancashire in the LV County Championship that weekend, with Saturday being the second of four days of play.

How about taking the train - 2.30 kick off on Saturday is a good time for getting to and from the ground, and Headingley station is only a couple of minutes walk from the ground. £15 a ticket though.
