I'm still not convinced of the idea of Barrett at #13. I know he's played there before, but not often, and a long time ago.
I just don't like the concept of playing people out of position.
Having said that, I do think Sam deserves a place in the side.
I'd be more inclined to stick with much the same side as aginst Wire, but with Joel in for Lockers and Sam for Mathers.
Then when it's time to sub Higham, either Leuluai or Sam goes to #9.
According to the Aussie reports, Cameron Phelps is to be Wigan's stand off for next season! :doz:
It is believed Wigan delayed making a move on Barrett until they had secured a suitable replacement for the former St George Illawarra star, Phelps now likely to be thrown into the five-eighth position next season.
Great idea putting the best stand off in super league at lose forward!! how about we put feka at fullback? he could hit the defensive line hard from there!!!
i only thought of it, because i dont think it'd be good getting sam on the pitch and Barrett's got all the qualities of a Loose any way. He could play any position just not second rower or prop.. but who knows
