Regards the petrol, I'd fill up at Tesco's or similar, down here, right to the top. I refilled at Hamilton Services and the price of 4 star was 118p/litre.
Just make sure you have enough petrol to get across Rannock Moor and through Glen Coe, there are petrol stations at Crianlarigh and Tyndrum prior to going over there.
There is a Morrisons in Fort William just behind the Rail Station to fill up for coming home.

If going Via the Erskine Bridge there is a petrol station in Milton just before Dunbarton where it would be a good idea to fill up if need be. Price was £114 for unleaded yesterday. That should get you all the way to Fort William as under a 100 Miles from there.

All packed now and ready to go.

Gotta be honest, Im more nervous about the driving than the actual walk. God help me if I get lost!

Looking forward to it though. Got your number saved Gregor so its all looking good. Got a suggestion from the family reg. donations etc. but will talk about that tomorrow.

Gregors got my number so if anyone needs me for anything just get it off him.

Safe journey for everyone going, see you all tomorrow.

Did the walk yester day and drove back after i finished. Had an excellent time and what beautiful weather it was. Sunny all day and excellent views from the top. Will sort photos out and send to Trots to distribute. A big thanks to everyone who went and a special thank you to Gregor and Gemma for organising the whole thing - very much appreciated. Gotta collect all the money now

And also a big thanks to Gregor for the Wee Dram at the top and the toast to Mike - Very fitting.

Roll on the next walk
Got back at 4 today. Had a great time. its a pity i couldnt get to the bunkhouse for a drink on saturday night. Anyway my wife and I would like to thank everybody who took part in the walk, especially Mick and Gregor for helping her up some of the trickier parts of the walk. I dont think she would have got up without them.

PS we are both a bit stiff but dont care, we probably saw some of the best views anywhere in GT Britain.

PPS More people on top of ben nevis than at a stains home game.
My thoughts exactly lol. Good to of met ya and thanks for the rolly half way up it saved me
