If he does use our once!! great club to get back in the NRL it will at least mean he has ambition and not be coming over for a retirement fund , who knows he may love it over here like Richards and Dallas and stay a while , if not and he returns home after a season and a bit, he will have played as many games as Kenny and Ferguson ! ''used us'' is not a term I remember when thinking of them in our colours . I also hope Sam T progresses and this may allow him to come into the team after next season fully ready . Again it's how you read into it you can make it fit with your thoughts as I can with my own , mine seems an happier place to be at the moment so think I will stay with them

:eusa2: Good post I think if we can get Tomkins into a few games next season playing alongside Smith and Tommy L it would be the perfect development, Throwing him in for the entire season could be very dangerous. I think we need to give them time to develop over a couple of seasons in the 1st team.If he does use our once!! great club to get back in the NRL it will at least mean he has ambition and not be coming over for a retirement fund , who knows he may love it over here like Richards and Dallas and stay a while , if not and he returns home after a season and a bit, he will have played as many games as Kenny and Ferguson ! As an example Goulding is a very talented player who at times has been over exposed, after a bit of a rest and the chance to develop his technique he came in against Leeds and did well especially in defence. Next season I hope he will have learned from this season and the games he played last season and really show his true potential.
Tomkins is only 18/19, he has plenty of time, physically he will not have completely developed and being quite small getting battered at his age by the likes of Peacock etc.. can't be good.
