I thought we missed lockers in defence. I agree with BW it is about time we stopped conceding 30+ Points if we want any chance of being champions. We played some good rugby last night. Our attack was good so we can be positive about that.
OOOOOO were the greatest club in the world!!!!

We have NO chance of being champions of anything. Leeds and Saints are miles ahead of the rest. Catalan are closer to those 2two clubs than we are. Even allowing for the numerous home games to come, the best we will finish will be 4th, maybe lower. We then will have to win games away and/or produced several excellent matches on the bounce. We do neither well. Nor will we under Brian Noble.

I have been a Noble supporter but must admit that we are letting in far too many points.Changing coaches is not the best way to solve problems but i think IL will expect better than we are producing.

Think back to how well we were defending earlier in the season, but couldn't score many points.

Now we're doing the opposite, I'm sure we'll find the right the blend, i.e. a combination of the two before the end of the season.

Agreed. But you know what I mean about the right blend, posting points as we are currently doing with our defence of a couple of months ago and we'll be stronger contenders than what we are currently, if we can do both those things on a consistent basis.

I know what you mean but we have not shown good defence apart form a few occasions this season such as Leeds away. Our points difference is now -22 which says we concede more points than we score on average.

Even when we win it is not by many like away at Wakey.

Our defence when viewed as a season so far as a whole is rubbish. The odd game where it has not been does not mean its good or capable of being good week in week out.

However, I hope the hypocrites do not keep changing their minds so much, it's hard to keep track of.
so what anderson inherited counts for is nothing ,he came in to a winning team and is getting out before that team is to old, what you say about nobby could be applied to anderson.
Mick trust me. Anderson is leaving Saints in a fantastic position. Yes they were good to start off with but generally their older academy team was poor. Now their reserves who are young for that level are excellent and their academy team are fantastic. Whatsmore, they all play the same system. So the moves you see at the first team you will see at academy. They all defend exactly the same. All of this is not new. John Monie did it. However, trust me Saints will not plummet as we hoped.
