Tim Smith work permit

Post by Webby1971 »

Has anyone heard anything about Tim Smiths work permit as it all seems to have gone a little quiet and we were hoping he would be available for Quins next week?

The length of time taken to apply and qualify must be somewhere on this site.

http://www.workpermit.com/uk/uk.htm

I suppose it also depends on documentation and previous misdemeanors too.

I was in the WEP the other day - he has the work permit and they said: "Wigan say Smith is now just waiting for his visa. If there are no hold-ups, this would allow him to arrive next week in time to be considered for the clash with Harlequins a week on Friday."

The visa' the easy bit, should only take a few days.
