IMO Klowns plan was that he left the clock running so that after Burrow *got the kick* their wasnt enough time for us to play on, result in Leeds win by 1point... :sly:  BUT..........

Maybe we should have sang -
"are you Mathers in disguise" but then again that would be an insult! Felt sorry for Mathers last night, especially after my dad put his foot right into it!!

In my opinion "Patsy" had a mare last night.

There was the incident in the first half where the Leeds winger had hit the corner flag before placing the ball over the try line, the linesman had indicated so and Klein totally ignored him.

Thankfully, Ganson had to give a no try when Klein consulted him as video ref.

Klein should have sin binned a Leeds player for a professional foul early in the 2nd half for preventing a quick play of the ball which almost certainly would have resulted in a Wigan try.

Of course, there was the final 20 seconds.

How on Earth a player who is lying face down injured is supposed to roll clear of the play is a mystery. That penalty decision was a disgrace.

OK, we'd put ourselves in a position to lose the game to a certain extent but had Sinfield been out there we know we'd have lost and it would have been an injustice.

I hope Nobby is going to have words with the refs bosses because for a professional referee last nights performance was very poor.

 RANT OVER

By the way, well done to the lads on a superb victory. The atmosphere was excellent down at the JJB. :eusa3:

If Coley had been really hurt and stopped down what a foolish thing the Leeds player did in pushing him out of the way to play the ball he could have done untold damage .Clown should have stopped the clock/play at this point

Agreed....Coley's play-acting was very Ronaldo-esque, but more worrying was the en masse barracking Klown got shortly prior to that with Leuluai et al doing a mean impression of wendy-ball players. This needs to be knocked on the head straight away (we might expect it from the Merseyside cabbages, but not us)...

Anyway, I've never rated Klown and last night was disgraceful.
I'd even go so far as to accuse him (to his face if possible) of deliberately ignoring Leeds offsides (in many cases there were players a yard in front and only a couple to his side - it would have been impossible for him not to have seen it) and forward passes and of calculated bias against us.

To have this convict descendent as the chief referee is taking the piss. I'd not even demand he be sent down to the lower leagues (mainly as I support Rochdale Mayfield over the winter and I'd not want that arse anywhere near Castleton - although it'd be a lot easier to break his legs there), he should be thrown out of the game altogether.

I never thought I'd ever say this, but even as Kirkpatric was universally hated, I don't remember him being so obviously one-sided.

I thought some of the decisions were daft but I'd have to watch them again to be completely sure. I did spend most of the time shoutin at the ref and I'd like to think some of it was justified.
Just about to sit down and watch the game on sky+ will let you know later, however if memory serves me right i think your correct.Mind you i got to get my eyesight checked out. :eusa16:

Don't get me wrong, I was spitting feathers at Klown for allowing what was on the face of it, an injured player to be shoved unceremoniously out of the way - I just don't like seeing play-acting like that in the game.

Play acting? Did you see his eye at the end of the game?

He couldn't open it!

He is a complete joke.

He gave that penalty to have a dramatic climax to the game, nothing else.

In his native Kiwi tongue he is a "Winker!"
