O'Loughlin aggravated his shoulder in the last game, so with Smith coming into the side, it's an obvious opportunity to push Barrett to LF.

A lot depends on Smith's fitness - but if he isn't match-fit (and I don't see how he can be), he might start on the bench with Tompkins or Hock at LF to begin with. But that'll leave us a forward short on the bench and we know how well that tactic worked last week :conf:

Mathers and Colbon to miss out for me.

it could be a blessing in disguise with lockers being injured. Tomkins has been pretty good this season and he doesnt deserve to lose his place!

Smith to start for me with trent at loose, we can always change it around then!

I don't think that it is a good idea to start Smith. He has played in a while and his fitness could be doubtful. stains will be targeting him and he will definitely tire late on.

Better to introduce him when the stains defense is (hopefully) tiring and he, Trent and Tommy can combine to create some chances

Great to see Smith in there. I did doubt Noble would give him the chance so soon.

Can't wait for the noise from the crowd to welcome him out for the first time in a Wigan kit - to show him just what this game means!! :D

Please no Mathers, please :eusa10:

Hope Timmy Smith can give us a great debut as this is the time we need every player to up their game. Lets hope Smithy does a Dobbo and runs the show! Cant say iv ever seen SMithy play, but with all the hype he`s been getting, im looking forward to seing what ha can do.

will it be..."SMITH, SMITH WILL TEAR YOU APART AGAIN"

Smithy, Cameron, Georgie, Paddy to run the game for me. Followed by a big disply by Hock and Fielden and LuLu.

Im fancying our chances
Like Trent has done 4 or 5 times in 2 seasons? (when it's been warm enough  )

MMMMmmm, Do we believe these players are unfit?

Bailey hardly misses a game, we kept getting told nearly ready. Prescott tweaked his back N.B He has previously become injured when dropped and Lockers as well. All too convenient.

Smith will play because IL has said he should. I doubt he can play the full 80 though.
