brett dallas
Re: brett dallas
Dallas does break through defenses when he has the ball! He needs to receive it first! He could also do with receiving the ball when in a good position instead of it being passed along the line with the defence already running in on the unbelievably obvious pass ready to intercept or tackle the man.

Go girl...needs a try though don't you think?MrsLam posted:
Dallas saved our ar**s on Sat night. He was there to receive nearly all kicks from the last under pressure and on the line.
If Dallas put on some weight he'd be a better forward than anyone we've got right now because despite his size and the fact that every tackle goes around his head, he is not afraid of taking the big guys on. With how some of our lads have been recently, how can you pick on Dallas?!
Re: brett dallas
Leigh on Friday night, watch out for him it'll be a good chance to show that he's still got it. I can't believe we're all losing so much faith even in our best performers!

Yes sort of giving my age away there but it's also my first name. Re Mason I thought the logic went along the lines of him giving an ultimatum to Canterbury if they splashed out to keep SBW. They have done so, so he is linked with a move to the Roosters thereby freeing Morley to come to us. Easy!!Doug Stand posted:Hi Jimmy, jinkin jimmy posted:
Doug,
Acording to totalrl.com Willie Mason is to miss most of the season through injury. This would stop Morley leaving the Roosters and coming to us. I like Morley but this is probably a good thing since,as you point out, we need more than one player. We could get 3 Korkidises for 1 morley
I like what you say with the 3 x Korkidases as opposed to 1 x Morley.
Just a little confused as I never mentioned Morely in my list, but I'm with you as it was an oversight on my part...but my question is If Willie Mason is out for the year how would that stop Morley coming to Wigan. Have I missed something. I though Morely was at the Roosers and Mason the Dogs...anyway not being pedantic or anything...because I'm with you. No point blowing tha budget on one player and if there were 3 players like Korkidas available then that would definatley be the way to go.
Also Jimmy, are you named after the legend that was the srum-half at Wigan in the early 80's. Good name btw
Re: brett dallas
This simply goes to a topic i raised on Sat - Who R U Blaming now. I can not believe people in slagging off the most reliable winger in the team. Some people will always blame a certain player whilst letting some get away with a lot of things.MrsLam posted:

There is nothing wrong with Brett dallas, he is a awesome player. We have got Carney back, so that will be cool. All we need it prop.
But we are wigan 'half assed'

Brett is a threat to any defence. I agree that he's having to come inside to rest our pack, but that's another problem with being so light up front - opposition forwards will be full of running after facing our pack as opposed to the Bulls/Rhinos.
The only way is up....!
Re: brett dallas
The main reason he has to come inside is that Carney is injured will see the real Dallas on Friday. I hope.Lancaster Rugby posted:

See can you lot who ask for him to be dropped back off. Hes never been one to go inside and help the forwards Carney is far better at that.

There you go, Jinkin Jimmy all we need is a little faith and message board magic. He did well tonight, seemed to make a good few yards when he got the ball.jinkin jimmy posted:Go girl...needs a try though don't you think?MrsLam posted:

I agree, We will see more balance now's Carney is back on the other wing, I think we have been looking to Dallas to do all the scoring as he was our #1 winger the past few weeks. Also he is a complete player with top class defence!
Sing your hearts out for the Lads!!!!
