Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Lets just see though
If all the finances are in place, stadiums built or in construction then the two best teams should get in. Not some jacked up taff team with no history. How long have we tried to promote RL in London they are not interested, the average gate is about 4200 a game at home thanks largely to the 8000 gate the got versus Wigan. I think the same will happen with Celtic

86years since the league was re-named but its still away fans travelling to london that give them their gates, not home support. Take last weekends gate of 2112 against Castleford. The millenium weekend is not a good representation of support in Wales as we do not know how many of those fans were welsh.

What were attendances like in Fulham RLs first year?

IL stated that the money SL receives from TV would decrease significantly without a London Club. I think he said by 10%. So on that basis I guess they pay for themselves.

Salford definitely and I hope Celtic. I suspect it may be Widnes. The RFL will not be bold enough to let Celtic or Toulouse in just in case it does not work out and they come in for criticism.

Dont know them all but their first game was against Wigan at home which they won in front of 10,000 in the old Div 2 and their club record was 15,000 against wakefield in the challenge cup.

They had good crowd figures. Not convinced Quins RL is the best idea. It seems second best to me.

Very much so.... And if you were a Wasps fan taking an interest in Rugby league would you go and watch Quins RL?? I very much doubt it.
