To be honest; it's no different to what League did before union went pro. League offered established union players large sums of money to change codes. Quinnell, Botica, Inga to name but a few that Wigan recruited. Lots of other League clubs did it too.

Whilst it may suck - we can hardly blame union for taking advantage of our ridiculously small salary cap and returning the favour
