fans - tonight?

Post by the-Bowtun-Warrior »

It wouldn't take a genius to work out we'll be lucky to have more than 11,12 thousand Wiganers on tonight (not my overall attendance).

However, of tht will be around 9000 season ticket holders.

so what are we to do tonight?
do we turn up and support the CLUB. get behind those wearing the shirt (regardless of the last few weeks) and do our upmost to show we are the 'loyal supporters' we are labelled.

or do we think it'll be another 'Wimbledon crowd'?

by no means am i saying we 'have to get behind them' or even that 'we should turn our backs on them till they turn up'. i am simply asking the question what will people be doing?

it seems to be said every week, but tonight is MASSIVE! another performance like the last 3 weeks (and so many times this year) and then the players will be loosing the fans by an even greater %.

What do we reckon we'll be doing then?

It's still our Club, regardless of how poorly they have played recently, and regardless of how much we question the passion of some of the players.

We've got to support them.

I'm just about to set off on my usual 190 mile roundtrip to the homelands and back. Mind you, the journey home for the last couple of weeks hasn't been much fun after the results....but I'll carry on doing it whatever!

Show your support and if the team play utter garbage after a while its your choice what to do, boo, sing, walk out etc... we are afterall, there to support Wigan arent we.

WELL I SAID I WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN ( UNTIL NOBLE WAS GIVEN THE ORDER OF THE BOOT)

AFTER 46 YEARS OF WATCHING MY BELOVED CLUB IT LOOKS AS THOUGH LOYALTY RATHER THAN BETTER JUDGEMENT AS GOT THE BETTER OF ME

SO YES

I WILL SOON BE ON MY WAY TO WATCH THE CLUB I WOULD DIE FOR

BUT I STILL SAY

NOBLE OUT

NOBLE OUT NOW

Wigan is and always will be a town of Cherry & White

I'll be there and will always support my club Ancient & Loyal :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
