Taken from the Official site match report:
On 74 minutes Wigan were denied what they thought was a try as the referee went upstairs after Liam Colbon had grabbed the ball and dived over, the try denied for a possible forward pass to the winger
I didn't think you could go to the screen for a forward pass!!!! :conf: :conf: :conf: :conf:

You can't. Must have been disallowed on some other technicality.

I have not seen it but some Wiganers are saying we got lucky with a Cat disallowed try.

I noticed that it said Wigan thought it was a try.

I wonder who was in the VR box????

Anyone who went to Catalan today could probably answer that questions when they return, because it says there isn't a VR on the RFL site???

I bet it's bl**y Cummings or Klein!!!!!

I agree with you. The last thing the game needed was another PSG or, fot that matter, Cardiff, Kent Invicta, Carlisle.......etc

One thought that does occur to me. If Catalans finish 3rd, they will potentially play at home twice in the play-offs. Home advantage is real, but even more so when your team is used to playing its home games in a climate 20+ degrees above the rest of the field!!

Did they cut themselves shaving today? They should get some plasters or bandages if they've cut themselves...

cant believe that the VR disallowed Colbornes try, the cat player clearly knocked the ball forward in to colborns arms.

I watch the game in the freemasons - the team played very well even agent ganson couldnt go to the screen for the last try. A good result as there are not to many sides that will go to cats and take some points away.

Best try of the night was luilui's side step to put pat through for an 70 yarder. Even feka played for more than 30 mins in total.

Only down side was that we looked slow in defense.

Just hope Barret hasnt played his last game as at times we missed his directional skills, saying that Smith and lui had good games.

I don't think Smith did have a good game. I'm not bagging the lad but his kicking was shocking, his passing was behind the player most of the time, he was caught out a few times in defence and if he see's a gap he won't go for it(there was a glaring chance in the first half but decided to wait and pass).
Apart from that he was BRILLANT!!
